Dust off your Santa hat and lace up your running shoes! St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is preparing for its annual Santa Suits on the Loose 5K Run on Saturday, December 12. Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the starter gun goes off at 8 a.m.

The flat, 3.1-mile course starts and finishes at the St. Augustine Beach Pier Park, meandering through St. Augustine Beach’s residential area in between. All Santa runners, Santa joggers and Santa walkers (as well as little elves in strollers) are welcome to participate.

Early bird registration has passed, but you can still sign up for $30 before the race (and for $35 on race day).

SAYS provides a safe, therapeutic home-like environment for boys between 6 and 18 from throughout Florida who have suffered from sexual or physical abuse and/or severe neglect.

Davidson Realty supports SAYS through its corporate giving program Davidson Cares. To provide support, Davidson Cares utilizes fundraising events, community donations and charity drives like its annual cooler raffle. Since 2012, Davidson Cares has been dedicated to helping local children by supporting local schools and youth-based programs. Learn about Davidson Cares (and purchase cooler raffle tickets!) at www.DavidsonCares.com.

Ho, ho, hope to see you at the race!
