Even though I’ve been on the WGV marketing team for almost a decade now, I’m ashamed to say I had never played the putting course at the St. Augustine golf community. So when friends asked me to last Thursday, I jumped at the chance! We met at 4:30 at the World Golf Hall of Fame and as soon as I realized I putt right-handed (even though I write left-handed) I did surprisingly well. This isn’t your average Putt-Putt couse after all!
This putting course is comprised of 18 greens that are maintained to USGA specifications. And the flags are moved daily – at least that’s what I heard! Because we wanted to catch the 6:00 PM “Hubble” IMAX movie, we decided to play “best ball”. The round of 18 took us about an hour, thanks to my friend Candy making a hole in one on the final green! We have a guest blogger writing a review of the movie next week so I won’t mention that the movie was fabulous and everyone should go see it! (more…)

Well, we just had another successful Sneak Peek Open House in Heritage Landing at World Golf Village on December 5. Families from around the area strolled through five homes in the community that are available for sale through Davidson Realty. One of them told me they like being able to look at a bunch of homes without any pressure. And that is great – because that’s exactly why we host the Sneak Peek Open House every month! Since we encouraged visitors to bring toys to donate to Sertoma Toys for Tots this month, the event was a double success. Thanks to those that donated!
As I mentioned, we normally have Sneak Peek Saturdays on the first Saturday of every month, but since the first Saturday in January is the day after New Year’s, we thought we would skip January and host the next event on February 6. (more…)

Prospective homebuyers, real estate agents and neighbors are invited to join The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village team on Oct. 3rd, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., for the first “Sneak Peek Saturday” at the St. Johns County master-planned, golf course community. Sneak Peek Saturdays are open houses that will be hosted by The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village staff the first Saturday of every month. The events will be held in different model, inventory and resale homes each month. A seasonal edible treat will be served in one home, registration for prizes will be held in another home and attendees will be able to meet The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village staff, ask questions and get more information about the St. Augustine golf homes and the community in a relaxed and informal setting.
Sneak Peek Saturdays will give area new home shoppers an up-close look at the beautiful homes available at The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village, which are built by some of the region’s finest and most well-respected home builders. Over twenty neighborhoods, designed to meet the needs of any buyer, are available, from elegant estate homes to resort style condominiums to active adult homes.
Pick up a map of the Sneak Peek Saturday open houses at the Davidson Realty office, which is at the main entrance to World Golf Village, or at the Gate House, which is at the entrance to King & Bear, three miles west of the main World Golf Village entrance.
