2 Creeks

From sandwiches and flatbreads to tacos and seafood, there is something for everyone at 2 Creeks! Join 2 Creeks throughout the week for special events including Prime Rib Night on Mondays, Trivia Wednesday on Wednesdays, Live Music on Fridays, and all-you-can-eat shrimp on Saturday evenings. Be sure to check out their extensive drink menu while you are there, too!

Murray Bros. Caddyshack

A meal at Murray Bros. Caddyshack will not be one you soon forget. Throughout the restaurant, you will feel the Murray Brothers’ love of golf and movies all while enjoying a sports event on one of their many flatscreens. Simone’s Wood Fired Craft Kitchen

Located near the World Golf Village area of St. Augustine, Simone’s Wood Fired Craft Kitchen is a local, family-owned establishment that delivers delicious classic Italian dishes. All of the pizza dough, bread, and pasta at Simone’s are made from scratch in-house by hand daily. Every item on their menu is sure to impress…but we are definitely eyeing the Margherita pizza! 

Llama

When you walk through the doors at Llama you are instantly immersed in a fine dining Peruvian experience. Each item on the menu is carefully crafted using fresh, authentic ingredients to fill both your body and soul. You will be in awe of the Tallarine Con Chango (a pork belly pasta) and ceviches! The Old Jail

In 1891, Henry Flagler commissioned the company that eventually built Alcatraz to construct a jail just north of downtown St. Augustine. The Old Jail provides guests a glimpse into the daily lives of St. Augustine’s most notorious prisoners. If you haven’t already visited, you have to admit you’ve always been curious about Ripley’s Believe It or Not! From incredible artwork to shrunken heads, your eyes won’t know where to look next. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum was founded by Robert Leroy Ripley to display the amazing artifact collection from his extensive travels. Willie Jewell’s Old School Barb-B-Q Comes to World Golf Village!

Willie Jewell’s is a great new addition to the restaurants in World Golf Village! I stopped by last week for the first time to check it out and get my barbeque fix. Let me tell you, the food does not disappoint. The Adeeb Family, the owners of Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q and Willie Jewell’s, really got it right with this one!

Willie Jewell’s offers finger-licking appetizers like Country Corn Fritters, Fried Okra, Chicken Wings, Fried Pickles, and Homestyle Onion Rings. The corn fritters dipped in their homemade ranch dressing is the way to go! They also have a variety of salads, sandwiches, big ol’ platters and southern sides! Our group went for the Crispy Chicken Salad, the Beef Brisket platter and the Smoked Turkey Platter. I tried bites of the mac-n-cheese, collard greens and fries and they were all delicious.

Family Owned and Operated Pizzeria Antonio’s Gets two Thumbs up for Their Delicious Homemade Italian Sausage!

Antonio’s Pizza & Grill, located off CR 13 past Outback Crab Shack, is quite the hidden gem. But World Golf Village residents know them for their family’s traditional homemade Italian sausage. I recently made my first of many trips to Antonio’s to try out what my World Golf Village neighbors have been raving about. I was not disappointed by the delicious food or the excellent service!

Two of my favorite restaurants to visit by sea or land are Cap’s on the Water and The Conch House Restaurant. Cap’s offers new coastal cuisine in an old Florida setting, while The Conch House is known for delectable Caribbean style cooking. Regardless which style you prefer, they both deliver fresh Florida seafood and outstanding service.

Yogurt Motion Opens in Palencia By Gracie Best

Move over cupcakes.  Frozen yogurt is the new favorite treat.  You can serve yourself, mix and match flavors, and get exactly the amount you want.  Then create your own masterpiece by choosing from a variety of toppings.  Frozen yogurt is also a slightly healthier dessert choice since it’s non-fat, but that’s beside the point because it tastes creamy, sweet and delicious!  So I was thrilled when a new Yogurt shop opened in Palencia.  A few days ago my friend and I went to visit Yogurt Motion located in the Palencia Commons. We met the owner, Scott Sance, who was glad to talk to us about the new, self-serve frozen yogurt shop.
