On the second Friday of every month, the World Golf Village Associates host a Farmers Market on the Walk of Champions in the heart of The Village for the public to enjoy. The event takes place from 3 to 7 pm and includes over 50 local vendors offering everything from fresh grown produce to meats, sauces, crafts, pet items and more. The event is free and pet friendly!

Davidson Realty’s Marketing Assistant Matt Burkhart and I stopped by the April Farmer’s Market to check it out and we were amazed at the variety of products available. There was everything from handmade lawn chairs to hand painted wine glasses, ceramic dishes, delicious food samples, and more.

We stopped by to chat with Robbin Wren with Two Birds Create to learn more about her hand-thrown, Florida-made ceramic products. She offers a bevy of beautifully crafted products including serving dishes, cups, bowls, flower pots and pepper mills. As Robbin explains in the video, she creates her own glazes with no harmful chemicals so they are food safe. Her products are truly one-of-a-kind and you can use them for many years to come!

We also caught up with Tim from San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce. After Matt and I tried Tim’s datil sauce and purchased multiple bottles, we knew we had to get the scoop on his product! Tim slow smokes his datil peppers to form his all-natural sauce. It’s not ketchup based, so there is very little sugar in the sauce. He uses Sherry cooking wine instead for a more savory profile. You have to try it!
