Summer break will soon be ending for St. Johns County students (first day of school is Friday, August 10) and the school district has plenty of resources to help families prepare for the upcoming school year. Here are some excellent online sources for schedules, news and enrollment information.
Enrollment
School enrollment is easy! Just visit the St. Johns County Schools enrollment page to get started. It is recommended that parents register their kids as soon as possible to help reduce the volume of students enrolling when school starts and help the district prepare for the appropriate number of teachers.
Please note:If you are already enrolled, you may still need to take action! Current students must update residency documentation before transitioning to middle (6th grade) and high school (9th grade)!
Attendance Zones
Things are changing all around the county, so be sure you know what school you are zoned to by visiting the online School Attendance Zones Locator where you can search by address.
School Supplies
Parents can find supply lists at each school’s website. Click here to find your child’s school website for supply lists. But hurry; stores are already running low on certain supplies.
School Hours
Schedules vary between elementary/K-8, middle and high schools. Early release is every Wednesday for all schools. Learn more about school hours here.
Orientation
The district is hosting acounty-wide orientation on Thursday, August 9 from 8 to 11 am. Students and parents can meet teachers, obtain class schedules and get school supply lists. Though many SJC schools have scheduled orientations on other dates and times, school staff will be available at all schools during this scheduled orientation!
