Spring and Summer Events at World Golf Village

One of the best parts about living in World Golf Village is having easy access to the historic and charming small town of St. Augustine and the big city feel of Jacksonville. With endless amounts of things to do year-round, Spring and Summer offer fun events and festivals that take you outdoors to enjoy the sun, warm weather and community of Northeast Florida. It’s time to get out and about!

Yoga in the ParkEvery second and fourth Sunday of the month, March through August, from 10:30-11:30AM

Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR) and Feeding Northeast Florida present Yoga in the Park, every second and fourth Sunday in Sesquicentennial Park in the historic Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville. Led by instructors from Bold City Yoga, classes are family-friendly (ages 8+) and appropriate for all skill levels. All you need is a yoga mat and water bottle. Classes are capped at 25 participants, and registration is requested but not required. Classes are free for SPAR members, or a $5 donation is suggested for non-SPAR members. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Minor League BaseballGames throughout week, from April through September (times vary)

Take me out to the ball game! Bring the whole family to see the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp AAA minor league baseball team play at VyStar Ballpark in downtown Jacksonville. Bring your glove and ball cap, and enjoy fun promotions at every game and fireworks every Friday night home game. There is plenty of parking, and if you arrive early, head across the ballpark to Intuition Ale Works or Manifest Distilling. Tickets are affordable, with single game tickets ranging from $5 to $45. Mandarin Art Festival Saturday, April 19th from 10AM-5PM and Sunday, April 20th from 10AM to 4PM (Easter Weekend)

Held every Easter weekend since 1968, the annual Mandarin Art Festival is a fine art event hosted by the Mandarin Community Club. It offers over 120 juried artists, food court, live entertainment, bake sale, Green Market and Children’s Art Show. The Green Market features local small businesses and hand-crafted goods, including soaps, honey, jams and jellies and more. The Children’s Art Show features works from over a dozen local elementary and middle schools. Parking is free, and a donation of $2 per person is suggested at the gate. St. Augustine Craft Brewers’ FestivalSaturday, May 3rd from 1-5PM

The 6th annual St. Augustine Craft Brewers’ Festival invites you to enjoy beer from over 25 local and regional breweries. There will be food trucks, live music, a photo booth, face painting and more. General admission is $50 in advance and $60 day of festival, and includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited tastings. VIP tickets are $120 and include access to an air conditioned pavilion, food catered by Meehan’s Irish Pub, commemorative tasting glass, unlimited tastings, private beer station, private bathrooms and guaranteed parking. This family-friendly event welcomes all, but minors must be supervised by a parent/guardian (and children’s admission is free). For more information and details, visit here. Whiskey Riot: A Festival of WhiskeysSaturday, May 3rd from 3-7PM for early entry and 4-7PM for general admission

For the first time ever, Whiskey Riot, America’s premier whiskey festival, is coming to Jacksonville! With over 200 varieties of whiskeys to sample, you can attend seminars and meet and greet with fellow whiskey lovers, distillers and brand founders. Eat great food and sip on sample cocktails too. General admission is $90 (plus fees and taxes) and includes an official branded tasting glass. Early access is $120 (plus fees and taxes) and includes entry one hour early, special access to limited edition and rare whiskies and an official branded tasting glass. St. Augustine Food + Wine FestivalWednesday, May 7th to Sunday, May 11th (times and locations vary)

This fifth annual, world class festival is a culinary celebration in St. Augustine. Showcasing the best culinary artisans and locally crafted spirits, wines and beers, the St. Augustine Food + Wine Fest offers a wide variety of food and beverage for any and all taste buds. With five events hosted at four locations, from wine dinners and tastings to master classes and more, tickets are available a la carte or in packages, ranging from $125 for general admission to $549 for the all-in VIP package. All persons must be 21 years or older to attend (except for Sunday’s Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch, which is family-friendly). Jacksonville Jazz FestivalThursday, May 22nd to Sunday, May 25th (Memorial Day Weekend; times vary)

The annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival is a FREE four-day music extravaganza in downtown Jax, featuring jazz legends like Kool & The Gang, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Boney James, The Roots and more. The weekend kicks off at the Florida Theatre with the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition, followed by three days of FREE live music at the Hart Bridge Stage, located at Tailgaters Parking in downtown Jax. Palatka Blue Crab FestivalFriday, May 23rd from 6-10PM, Saturday, May 24th from 12-10PM, and Sunday, May 25th from 12-9PM (Memorial Day Weekend)

The annual Palatka Blue Crab Festival has been a FREE family-friendly festival for nearly 30 years! Hosted along the scenic waterfront in downtown Palatka, this beloved event features national headliners, regional musicians, dozens of craft vendors and food trucks and activities and entertainment for all ages. There will be craft beer, pony rides, fireworks, waterslides and most importantly: crabs. For more information and details, visit here. Concerts in the PlazaEvery Thursday, May 29th to August 28, from 6-8PM

The perfect place to gather on a summer evening, Concerts in the Plaza showcases the best in regional musical talent every Thursday in St. Augustine’s historic Plaza de la Constitución. Listen to music and dance in the town square all summer long; all you need is a chair or blanket. Picnic dinners are allowed, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. River City Wrestling Con 2025Saturday, June 7th from 11AM-6PM and Sunday, June 8th from 11AM-6PM

Northeast Florida’s pro-wrestling fan convention returns to World Golf Village. This pro-wrestling spectacular is family-friendly, with all ages welcome. There will be personal appearances by 100 globally-recognized and legendary pro-wrestling superstars, including Bret Hart, Bobby Lashley, Kane and so many more. For two days, enjoy exciting live wrestling matches, meet and greets, Q&A panels, costume contests, gaming and an assortment of vendors and exhibitors showcasing pro-wrestling memorabilia. Tickets start at $40 for one-day only general admission, and weekend packages and VIP experiences are also available for purchase. Children under 10 are admitted free with a paid adult admission.
