Davidson Cares’ first event of the school year, Novemberfest, was a huge success racking in over $8,000 for Wards Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School! World Golf Village parents, teachers, residents and friends had a great time at Mile Marker Brewing rocking out to Dos Gringos, enjoying the Moe’s Southwest Grill Taco Bar and bidding on amazing silent auction and raffle items all for the St. Johns County Schools.

There’s plenty more to come from Davidson Cares, which means more money for our schools! There are two more fundraisers going on before the money is awarded to the schools in April. First up is the Davidson Cares Vacation Raffle. Get your raffle tickets for a chance to win $2500 for travel, including accommodations, airfare and entertainment for the trip you and your family want to take. Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. The winner of the raffle will be announced at the final fundraiser for the year, the Davidson Cares 5K and Kid’s Fun Run in World Golf Village on Saturday, February 8th. The family fun day event will be going on from 10 am – 2 pm and will include tons of great kid’s activities like laser tag, giant hamster balls, temporary tattoos, a bouncy house, a mile long kid’s fun run and more. Mile Marker Brewing is the Title Sponsor for the race, so there will be great brews available, too!
