We are back again with Lennar Homes exploring their Genesis Bonus Model in Palencia, or as Lennar refers to it, their Next Generation Home. Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson and I got a personal tour of the “home within a home” from Tim Shillings, Lennar Homes’ New Home Consultant. Tim explains all about their distinctive product in the video above!

What makes the Genesis Bonus so unique? Well, as Tim describes in the video tour, the Genesis Bonus was created to accommodate people with particular living needs. A separate living space is connected to the home for multi-generational use (kids that move back in with their parents, parent’s parents, etc.), special needs-adults or even as a private office space. Tim is always seeing creative uses for the space!

Some stand-out features of the home design are the two separate garages (one for each living space) and the two entrances into the separate spaces for privacy and comfort. What’s even better is the main living area has all the standard upgrades Lennar is known for (which is included in their base price), like the 42 inch cabinets and state-of-the-art appliances. You can’t even tell there is a separate living area attached until you are escorted into the roughly 600 square foot bonus area, which includes a kitchenette with refrigerator, stackable washer and dryer units, a large living room space, an incredibly spacious bedroom with walk-in closet and its own bathroom and walk-in shower.
