Welcome to Inland Homes’ Amherst spec home in the King & Bear! In the past couple of months, you’ve been introduced to Adam Roller, President and Chief Operating Officer for the company’s St. Augustine operations, and learned about Inland’s excellent customer service by going behind the scenes of their pre-dry wall inspection. This month, Adam describes their new home introduction – another great example of how Inland Homes takes care of their customers through the entire building process!
Last month, we introduced you to Adam Roller, President and Chief Operating Officer for the new St. Augustine operations of Inland Homes. Inland Homes St. Augustine currently has spec homes under construction in our St. Augustine golf course community so we welcomed the opportunity to learn more about the company and its exceptional customer service. We were impressed, especially when Adam explained they conduct a pre-dry wall inspection for every new Inland Homes’ house constructed.
The signs of an improving real estate market continue in our northeast Florida golf community. Strong increases in pending home sales, decreases in inventory and higher median prices are welcome signs. The improvements in real estate sales activity dovetails with an increase in new home construction by major national homebuilders. Says Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty, “Pending sales are very encouraging. We wrote over 2,100 contracts in May which was a 36 percent gain over last May. Meanwhile inventory is down year-to-date over 30 percent.”
Inland Homes has been building high quality, beautiful homes since 1989 across Central Florida, and now they are bringing their talent to the St. Augustine area! We’re happy to introduce you to President and Chief Operating Officer for the new St. Augustine operations of Inland Homes, Adam Roller. We will present a series of videos with Adam on the pre-dry wall orientation that he does with every homeowner, and the new home orientation, the final walk through he does with buyers teaching them about functionality and features of their new home. In this first video, you’ll get to know Adam and Inland Homes a little bit better.
Just as the cardinals are busy preparing their nests in our wooded St. Augustine, Florida community, so too are new World Golf Village residents readying their own cozy nests! The new construction that began to increase at the start of this year, continues on an upward trend in our master planned golf community. New homebuilding construction is happening throughout the World Golf Village neighborhoods with a range of projects underway by national homebuilders and local custom homebuilders.
National homebuilder Standard Pacific Homes has broken ground on 4 homes in the family-oriented GroveWood neighborhood of World Golf Village. The anticipated completion is summer 2012. Standard Pacific Homes purchased 16 lots in GroveWood late last year. The company is offering four floor plans, ranging from about 2,500 to 3,500 square feet. Pricing starts in the high $200,000’s and an extensive list of upgrades comes standard with the new homes.
Both national homebuilders and local custom homebuilders are stirring up activity in our master planned golf community. A range of projects are now underway in the King & Bear which is great news for World Golf Village homeowners, our Davidson Realty agents and the north St. Johns County economy. Here’s a taste of what’s happening in our St. Augustine, Florida neighborhood.
Leading home builder Inland Homes boasted a strong finish to 2011 with the closing of 13 new homes in December in The Cascades, World Golf Village’s active adult retirement community. The company’s total closings for the year came in at 45. “Inland Homes has a high-quality and well-priced product and that was reflected in their strong numbers for the year,” said Mirtha Barzaga, Realtor with Davidson Realty. “Buyers especially love that Inland Homes come standard with an impressive list of upgrades,” added Barzaga.
